"it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to "sick"
In the teachings of the Science of Mind, it is believed that all health is perfect health.
All of the ailments and dis-eases are manifested from the mind first. I wanted to touch on this briefly before I moved on because I personally don't believe in being sick. I believe in living the physical reality of what's happening in the inner world and if there are physical ailments it may be healed by going within and exploring the mind and ill thoughts. (I may get into this later but not at this time)
The truth is we are always doing our best. We can only do so much with the knowledge and wisdom we currently have. And so our best will look different from moment to moment.
If we are "healthy", living in harmony with what's around us we will feel great and do great works. If we feel "sick" depressed, sad, or anxious, we will only do what we are capable of doing under those circumstances. But if we can accept our best in this moment then we can avoid self-judgement, shame, guilt, and self-hatred. Also understanding that we are all doing our best we can have more grace and compassion on others and what their best looks like in the moment. This will also help with judgment and hatred among others.
Always do your best no matter what is happening around you. Your internal state affects your outer world so do your best to nourish yourself from within and practice self-forgiveness for the times you wish you knew better. We don't know what we don't know.
Write it Out! Make amends:
I want you to think and WRITE about the times that someone has disappointed you or let you down. Maybe it was your parents, your siblings, your spouse, etc.
Think about this agreement and recognize they were only doing what they knew in that moment and what their best looked like at that moment.
Forgive them for not knowing better and forgive yourself for judging them for it.
Forgiveness work is what heals the heart. Forgiveness is not for them but for you! Even if you don't speak to them anymore know that letting go of the pain of disappointment will set you free.
